I feel she listens to my view and makes choices with me, is patient when I am slow to make decisions and I feel she cares for me and has my best interest at heart. Thank you for being kind and keeping me going.

I saw a lot of doctors that did not listen to me before. Doctor Read is good to me and made me better.
Profile
I specialise in mental health problems in people age 65 or older . This includes mood disorders (such as depression, anxiety, bipolar affective disorder), psychosis and cognitive difficulties (such as memory impairment and dementias).
At present I work as an Acting Consultant in Liaison Psychiatry for Older People at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Trust, having previously worked as a SAS doctor in a community team.
